Edwardian buttercream silk chiffon petticoat slip skirt

Description

From the estate of a woman who lived to be 104.  She spent many of those years collecting an array of fine vintage and quality antiques...enough to fill a farmhouse and barn!
This is a lovely, flowing chiffon garment with an elaborate flounce of
fancy Valenciennes net-lace, panels of embroidered sheerest organza and more chiffon.  The chiffon is a buttercream or palest yellow and the lace is white.
It could be worn as either a slip or a skirt with another layer beneath.  It is larger than usual for an item from this era.  Snap closure at waist.  A few small tears in the chiffon which might be repairable, depending on your skill with a needle and thread (see photos).  A few pinhead-size holes.  Small, faint, almost invisible discolored areas which do not show up in photos.  A few inevitable separations in the lace.  No odor.  It has been steamed to remove wrinkles.
