This auction is for
a rare 1959 English Taplin Twin 7.0 cc r/c diesel model engine. This
engine
is in great condition, very clean, turns over smooth
with
excellent compression. Comes with original box and factory papers that include a signed letter from Birchington Engineering dated March 29th, 1962, with Mr. Taplin's signature, a rare find. Included in the papers is a brochure for the Taplin Baker Hydrojet.  The engine serial number is W252. The display stand is included. This will make a fine addition to your collection or run it. The box does have a flaw in that there is a hole in the top, I have had boxes like this repaired
reasonably.
