Vntg Lot 6 Half Slips Skirts Small S Dior Olga Henson Reigning Beauty LaceColors

Description

This is a lot of 6 vintage half slips. Four were made in the USA; the Olga was assembled in Mexico; and the soft white one with wide lace bottom has had the tag removed. All were either laundered a while back and stored or freshly laundered. The elastic is good on all slips. All with tags are noted to be a size small and the one without it’s tag measures to be a small. All measurements are flat across the front only. Please note the eye paperweight prop is not included in this lot.
This lot includes the following:
1) Black half slip “Secret Hug” by Olga, Style 963, assembled in Mexico, 1 & 1/4 inch elastic lace waist, up to 2.5 inch lace all around the bottom, made of nylon and stretch lace, size is Small Tall and the length is just less than 27 inches, waist measured flat across the front is 11.75 inches at rest and readily stretches to 16 inches. Very good condition.
2) Mauve half slip by Christian Dior, made in the USA of 100% Polyester with a large frontal expanse of detailed alencon lace measuring 7 inches at the center front and narrow lace around the back, size small with waist at rest measuring 10.5 inches and readily stretches to 18 inches, length is 28.5 inches. Please note this was just hand laundered and air dried flat per label directions. There is a very faint small spot on the lower back left. Also on the back is what I think may be fabric wear or possibly iron marks (?), just don’t know. The fabric is strong and resists hearty tugging. Both are shown in photos.
3) Taupe Henson Kickernick made of 100% Antron III Nylon, size small made in USA, one side of label has come detached, one inch wide stretch lace waist measuring 12 inches and stretching readily to 17 inches, 1.5 inch lace along the kick opening and all around the bottom, total length is 26.75 inches. Very good condition.
4) Purple slip by Reigning Beauty made in USA of 100% polyester with 1.5 inch net lace around the bottom, tagged size small waist 24/26, waist at rest measures just less than 11 inches and easily stretches to 18 inches and the total length is 27 inches. Very good condition.
5) Soft white slip with tag removed, has pillow tab and fabric is nylon, 4.5 inch lace around the bottom and narrower lace along kick slip opening, one tiny pick and tiny red line stain noted. Waist at rest easures 11 inches and stretches to 15 inches. Length is 21 inches.
6) Off white Shadowline half slip with pillow tab, size Small Tall and with narrow scalloped lace across the bottom, waist at rest is 10.5 inches stretching easily to 15.5 inches and total length is 26.5 inches. One small pick noted. Picture of slip to follow shortly.
